30 Days of Thankfulness ~ Day 6

I'm thankful for options... opportunities... free will.  My employer's HSA plan for next year doubled in premium price.  Absolutely insane.  However, with some research and emails with our fabulous insurance agent, we found a few plans that meet our needs and were significantly cheaper. 

Tonight we met with our agent, decided on a plan (an HSA plan through Wellmark, $5700 deductible, 0% coinsurance) and applied.  We'll be saving ~$300 per month with this plan vs. the plan that is being offered at work.  Yes, please! 

So this is why I'm thankful for options... options for health insurance, opportunity to save money and free will to make a decision that is right for our family.
